The Knížecí Dvůr Hotel which was opened in the mid-2006 is situated in the immediate vicinity of the Podhrad Hotel, right in the centre of the town, in the main square in Hluboká nad Vltavou.

The Knížecí Dvůr Hotel was established in a building which stood next to the road to the Hluboká Castle and was built in 1846 according to a design of Viennese architect Franz Beer on the site of a former farm yard. It is a mighty building with moderate Classicist architectural features. Offices of the Schwarzenberg court were situated in the building for nearly a century.

The Knížecí Dvůr Hotel offers accommodation in 18 rooms, 1 suite with a total capacity of 42 beds. All rooms have their own bathrooms, are furnished with period furniture and comply with all standards of a four-star hotel.

 Art lovers can visit the Knížecí Dvůr Gallery where a collection of works by renowned contemporary artists is to be seen. In the hotel there is also a traditional Chinese medicine clinic where skin problems are treated by purely natural medicaments and advice concerning a healthy lifestyle is provided.

The hotel staff can arrange horse-riding courses and horse rides, or a golf school and golf games on the local golf course for its guests. These services are provided in cooperation with partners of the hotel owner which include the Golf Club Hluboká nad Vltavou and the Vondrov Riding Centre.
